We have earned this reputation, in part, through our commitment to creating relationships with our clients and take seriously the role we play in our community by building our clients’ homes. This approach has allowed our team of builders, architects, project managers, and designers to work consistently with the area’s best sub-contractors and source high-quality materials. Our team is passionate about building beautiful, high-quality homes. And we’re committed to treating each client with the same care we would give our own families.

Our Founders

Focused on open dialogue and innovation, Aspen Homes creates homes with clever solutions to our client’s specific needs, aesthetic tastes, and property locations. Looking at our portfolio, you will see we embody the spirit of the Great Northwest.

Founders Todd and Zetta Stam are both members of the North Idaho Building Contractors Association, an Idaho Registered Master Builder, and members of the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber. They are known for their showcase homes in the annual Parade of Homes, which they’ve been doing since 2003. These showcase homes have brought them awards of distinction. The People’s Choice, Realtors Choice, and Distinguished Builder, to name a few. Aspen Homes has been featured on the cover of North Idaho Luxury Life Style, NSPIRE, Couer d’Alene Living Local, and Northwest Mining & Timber. They have been featured in the Home Stratosphere as Top 5 Custom Home Builders and made a splash in Houzz Magazine. This dynamic husband and wife duo were featured on HGTV and most recently named Power 50 Most Influential Professionals in the Northwest. With all of these accomplishments, the Stams would tell you their greatest life’s work is their family.

As North Idaho residents, Aspen Homes’ first responsibility is to the place we call HOME. 28 years ROOTED in Community with over 700 homes built locally and over 325 million in local jobs and revenue.

We build homes and relationships in this beautiful community of ours. We engage in our community through DONATIONS, Participating in Fundraising events, Walks, Runs, dinners, etc. One of the most exciting things we have recently been a part of was rallying some other beautiful people in the community to procure a Helicopter to help Search and Rescue for our Sheriff’s Dept. This year alone, we have supported and participated in the Hope4.5k, an Orphan Run for awareness. We supported the Special Needs Recreation by sponsoring their huge Gala and even purchased them a therapy dog, We bought all the kites for the Fly the Kites Child Abuse awareness, Children’s Village Auctions, Union Gospel Mission (supporting the ‘Women in Recovery’ program, The Mayor’s Cup for the Humane Society, Sponsored the Christian Youth Summer Theater, Second Harvest (feeding the Needy in our Community.) Charity Golf, our local High schools, Orchard Ridge Assisted Living, Ryan Breece Local, and pledged to our new museum being built in our community. Giving back hundreds of thousands of dollars to our Community has been our finest work that will leave a long-lasting legacy in the Community we call Home.
